  i ask you to consider this scenario:.

  a devoutly born-again christian man, who strives to live every facet of his life in accordance with what is written in the gospels, spends all of his time helping the poor, reading his bible cover-to-cover, living an austere life and genuinely feels that his life is motivated by his love of christ.

  a real christian in practice, both public and private.

  gb member and so called "annointed" person geoffry jackson is caught red handed on video doing some worldly dancing and sexual gyrating (they have spoken against such manner of dancing on several occasions) with a woman who is not his wife!!!

  i can only imagine what they do off camera now!!!.

  i would not have even considerd doing such a thing on the dance floor with a woman, especially if it was not my wife, and i'm not even one of the so called "annointed" smh!!!

  HOW to accept counsel and criticism from an Elder

  there is a catch-22 that can trip you up at the local kingdom hall.. .

  if you receive "counsel" from an elder about any behavior at all and you "resist" or question the counsel you can be accused of having a "spirit of rebellion".. .

  so, you have to either shut up and comply (with even the most ludicrous and ill-founded suggestions) or answer back and be chastised and "marked".. .

  gen 6:7. so jehovah said: i am going to wipe men whom i have created off the surface of the ground, from man to domestic animal, to moving animal and to flying creature of the heavens, because i do regret that i have made them.

  8 but noah found favor in the eyes of jehovah.. .

  does he still regret making us, or did he change his mind and now he is happy?.

  Opinionated Elders

  i've seen many elders over the years instead of using god's word to explain how things really are try to use the bully-pulpit on the platform and try to just bully brothers and sisters into their own selfish opinions and then trying to pass them off as fact.

  i also here that this goes on further up the chain.

  what stories do you all have on this?

  Public Talks all MANUSCRIPT now???

  on another thread gingerbread said (ouch - the poetry is not deliberate!

  ) that all sunday public talks are now manuscript.. is this why the brothers have been doing babble readings without adding any comment?

  so they can just regurgitate words convincingly whether they understand or not??.
